WA Craft Beer Bars & Breweries

The capital city of Western Australia (WA), Perth has the enviable reputation of being one of the world’s most isolated capital cities. With the next closest city being 2,700 kms away (Adelaide).

However with such isolation, comes great rewards. A high quality of life, vast open spaces, clean air, crystal clear water, awesome weather, and over 278 sunny, outdoor beer drinking, days a year!

Western Australia is also generally considered the birthplace of modern craft beer in Australia, with breweries such as Matilda Bay and Little Creatures creating waves (and awesome beers) back in the 80’s – long before craft beer (or “boutique” beer as it was known then) was a thing in this country.
