Christchurch Craft Beer Bars & Breweries

Located on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island, Christchurch, is known for its English heritage, vast green parks, and the meandering Avon river that winds its way through the city centre.

Despite weathering a massive magnitude 6.3 earthquake in 2011, that caused severe damage, and killed over 100 people and injured several thousand. However despite these setbacks, Christchurch’s resilient ability to bounce back, and soldier on has never been stronger.

Whilst the process of rebuilding the city, is still ongoing. The Christchurch craft beer scene has never been stronger. With local breweries such as Beer Baroness, South Paw, Three Boys, Twisted Hop, Eagle Brewing, and Cassels & Sons, all adding to a growing number of dedicated craft beer bars popping up around the city.
